Case No: 11-CV-2356
State of Wisconsin/Circuit Court/Brown County
Premises Liability
Jury Trial

In February of 2014, Mark Budzinski defended a business and independent contractor working in that facility in a premises liability case venued in Green Bay. A customer slipped and fell on an object that had been left on the floor of the business, unnoticed, for at least an hour and a half. The plaintiff suffered a knee injury in the fall that required surgery and injections. The jury found no negligence on behalf of either the business or the independent contractor. While the medical expenses were stipulated, the jury also awarded the plaintiff $0 for pain and suffering.
